New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees broke Miami Dolphins’ former quarterback Dan Marino’s National Football League single-season record of 5,084 passing yards set during the 1984 season.

Brees passed for 307 yards and 4 touchdowns as he lead the Saints to a 45-16 win over Atlanta in the season finale of Monday Night Football.

With the win, the Saints with a record of 12-3 clinched the NFC South title.
